How to Take Care of Natural Rubber Products？
Natural rubber is derived from latex, a milk-like substance produced by the para rubber tree. The harvested latex is then processed to make rubber. Natural rubber is elastic, flexible and waterproof. It is naturally durable. But products made from natural rubber benefit from regular care and conditioning. If possible, use the products recommended by the manufacturer. For the best results, clean your rubber product whenever it appears dirty. Condition once a month or whenever the rubber begins to look dry and brittle.

Wash natural rubber with a soft sponge cleaning product made or suggested by the product's manufacturer. Otherwise, use a mild soap solution (1 tbsp. of liquid detergent soap per quart of water). Scrub away any visible dirt.

Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all traces of the cleaning solution.

Dry the rubber with a clean, lint-free towel. Never use heat or direct sunlight to dry natural rubber products. The rubber will dry out and crack under the heat.

Pour a dime-sized dollop of rubber conditioner or olive oil onto a soft rag. Buff the conditioner into the rubber's surface. Wipe the product dry with a clean portion of the rag to clean away any conditioner residue.
